Security

LeasePro handles sensitive information — leases, tenant details, and payment records. We take that seriously and build security into the product from the ground up. Here's how your data is protected.

Passwordless sign-in

LeasePro uses secure magic-link authentication. There's no password to guess, reuse, or leak — you sign in with a one-time link sent to your verified email, which removes the most common cause of account breaches.

Strict data isolation

Every record — each property, unit, lease, tenant, and payment — is scoped to your account and enforced at the database level with row-level security. Another user cannot access your data, even in the unlikely event of a bug in the application layer, because the database itself rejects the request.

Encryption

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS on every connection) and encrypted at rest in our database. Traffic to and from LeasePro is never sent in the clear.

Payments and screening

Payments are securely processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processor — LeasePro never sees or stores full card or bank-account numbers. Tenant screening is handled through a licensed consumer-reporting agency under the protections of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

We don't sell your data

Your data is yours. We do not sell personal information, and we share it only with the service providers needed to run the features you use. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Reporting a vulnerability

If you believe you've found a security issue, please email security@leasepro.net. We appreciate responsible disclosure and will respond promptly.
