Terms of Service

1. The Service

LeasePro provides software tools for landlords, property managers, and real estate professionals to collect rent, create and sign lease documents, screen prospective tenants, manage maintenance requests, and organize rental operations. LeasePro is a software platform. It is not a law firm, a financial institution, a mortgage broker, or a property manager, and it does not provide legal, financial, tax, or real-estate advice.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or discriminatory purpose, including any violation of fair-housing laws;
• Upload content you do not have the right to use, or that is defamatory, infringing, or harmful;
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data;
• Use tenant-screening information for any purpose prohibited by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) or other applicable law.

4. Documents and e-signatures

Lease templates and other documents provided through the Service are informational starting points and may not fit every situation or jurisdiction. You are responsible for ensuring any document you use is accurate, complete, and compliant with the laws that apply to you. For complex matters, consult a licensed attorney. Electronic signatures collected through the Service are intended to be legally binding under applicable e-signature laws.

5. Payments and subscriptions

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method for applicable fees and taxes. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

6. Third-party services

The Service integrates third parties (for example, payment processing and consumer-reporting agencies for screening). Your use of those features may be subject to the third party's terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any document, estimate, or screening result is accurate or suitable for your purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LeasePro and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; certain provisions survive.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
